Support the Community Cancer Garden

There are several ways to support the Community Cancer Garden, such as memorial gifts, volunteerism, and general donations. Below are opportunities for anyone to contribute. To ensure donations are processed securely, we use an external giving platform, trusted by nonprofits around the world. There is an external button for each donation opportunity below that will direct you to a secure donation form.

Memorial Bricks
  • $150 per 4″x8″ brick
  • Can include memorial or in honor of someone
  • Will be replaced if brick does not last until its expected lifetime
Memorial Benches
  • $2,000
  • A plate with memorial information will be secured to the bench
  • Only six benches are available in the first phase of the garden
  • Images below are samples of the bench and memorial plate
Flower Beds
  • Lilac Bed – $3,000
  • Lilac Bed – $3,000
  • Lilac Bed – $3,000
  • Arbor Bed – $2,500 (SW Corner)
  • Arbor Bed – $2,000 (middle of garden)
  • Statue Bed – $2,500 (flower bed where statue is located)
  • North Walkway Bed – $3,500
  • Purple Ribbon Bed – $3,500 (center of garden)
  • Blue Ribbon Bed – $3,500 (center of garden)
  • Red Ribbon Bed – $3,500 (center of garden)
Memorial Trees
  • $500
  • During phase 1, up to 56 fifteen gallon trees will be planted.
  • Varieties include a Kentucky Coffeetree, Baldcypress, Ponderosa Pine, Southwestern White Pine, Serbian Spruce, and English Oak
  • Memorial trees will have plaque listed underneath the tree, similar to the sample pictures below
  • For an additional $350, a light can be added to make the tree glow.
Water Feature
  • $5,000
  • Bubbling Fountain
  • Memorial sign placed next to the water feature
  • Only one water feature in the first phase of the garden
  • Sample images of a bubbling fountain are included below
Swing
  • $8,000
  • There is one swing included in the first phase of the garden
  • Crafted by genuine Amish craftsman and includes all stainless steel fasteners
  • A plate with memorial information will be secured to the swing
Pergola
  • $10,000
  • The Pergola is 12’x12’x10′ tall and is the central feature in the first phase of the garden
  • A plate with memorial information will be secured to the Pergola
  • Images below are of the actual Pergola
Statues
  • Through the first phase, there are three spots available for a statue that are available on a first come, first serve basis
  • These can be custom to each situation
  • Statue sponsorship level will be finalized after design is selected
